Well where do I start?
We had a good night and thought we were possibly over this mess and another abdominal episode happened this afternoon. Blake will start a blood curling scream, sweating, drawing his knees up and grasping for you all at the same time. We gave him Mylicon, and Tylenol which eventually knocked him out. The doctor came in and ordered a ultrasound of his belly. The radiologist felt everything looked okay which leaves us again with no answers. Dr. Hefner said Blake's C-diff culture came back positive which in babies less than 6 months it is somewhat expected to be positive so they aren't sure if it's positive because he really has it? (if that makes any sense) Also he had some WBCs in his stool sample which indicates a infection.. I don't know what to think.. I do not want him to come home and still be hurting the way he has and at the same time I want us to be home so he can rest and be in his own bed........The game plan for now is to watch him through the night and watch the fever/diarrhea possibly if improving they will put him on an antibiotic to kill the C-diff. and hopefully go home....? But all a guess for now!
I will be on NBC13 News tomorrow! I did my photos today at the studio and met my personal trainer for the Biggest Loser competition! I am guessing it will be on the morning show of NBC13 but you will also be able tomorrow to go to the website for NBC13 and see my pictures and read my daily BIO and my competitiors BIOs!!!!!!!!Go Beth Go!!!!!

Say a Prayer for Blake
Please keep little Blake in your prayers.
The little guy just can't catch a break.
Last Thurs. april 17th, I took Blake to the Dr. for low grade fever, diarrhea and congestion. We thought it was just a cold and should watch him. Over the weekend, his diarrhea continually got worse and his fever Low grade(99.0-99.1) hung around. Blake was not feeling much himself and wasn't sleeping very well. Last night Blake's fever spiked to 101.7 he had over 9 dirty diapers and didn't sleep more than 45 min spurts. After taking him back to the Dr. today we found he has 2 severe ear infections and when they weighed him on last Thurs he was 18.5 lbs now he is 17.4. He has lost over a pound in a matter of days! They sent cultures on his stool and did lots of blood work. The blood work came back good! So we are very thankful for that, but little Blake is continuing to have severe diarrhea. Our Pediatrition wants Blake to take Isomil DF for 8 days in addition to my breastmilk to see if we can replace some of his electrolytes. Now that he will be on an antibiotic for 5 days there is more concern about his stomach and diarrhea issues. Sweet Little Blake just dosen't feel well and you feel so helpless when they are just so small. I feel a bit concerned that Blake is only 3 months old and has already had 2 ear infections requiring antibiotics as well as the hospital stay for the flu.
Drue's diagnosis: "He has a cold and the runs"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Behind the girls in the window Rick Burgess posed for a picture. (hard to see due to the reflection)
What a wonderful Day! Not only did I turn 28, I got to spend it with my kids and some special friends and my wonderful husband! We started the day off early going to see Rick and Bubba at there new studio, then for some breakfast at Panera Bread. We attempted shopping at the Galleria and lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. After a long nap, the Worthy family offered to keep all the kids so Drue and I could enjoy a night out! It was the best Birthday Yet, Thanks Drue!

Theif in the Neighborhood
Okay Saturday Night someone broke into our car and stole the radio.
Several other neighbors had there cars broken into as well, So we had the police come out and make a report.
The officer was in the house writing the report and Lauren could not believe we really had a police man in the house. She whispered to me "It's kinda scary having a policeman in the house".
She jumps up on the couch and scrunches down behind me. Lauren pops out from behind me and sang very softly "BAD BOYS , BAD BOYS, WHAT YA GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU?" then she jumped back behind me. I thought I was going to die of embaressment. The policeman continued writing the report paying no attention to Lauren. So Lauren steps it up a notch with a LOUD version of "BAD BOYS BAD BOYS WHAT YA GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU" . It was hilarious. The policeman kept his composer and never said a word.
