Jesus is busy right now!

Drue is out of town working this week and it's me with the three kids!! ALONE!!

Well Lauren last night started out being really good. We all went on a walk and Alexis decided to make everyone ice water. She labeled everyone's drink. Lauren saw what Alexis had done and moved my name from the cup. I sat down in the chair and Alexis starts to bring me water when Lauren steps right in front of me takes the cup of water from Alexis and said "I made you a cup of Ice Water" I knew Alexis had been working on the ice water so I told Lauren she needed to go put her head down and ask Jesus if she was telling the truth and then I wanted to know what he said... She kept her head down for a while so I asked her if she had talked to Jesus yet and she replied " NO HE IS IN A MEETING RIGHT NOW, I SHOULD COME BACK LATER" I thought I was going to die laughing , needless to say Jesus was able to speak to me and she did end up in time out!!!

The day started out with a little shopping and Alexis thought she had been invited to the Worthy's to play but little did she know we were giving her a surprise Birthday Party at Cafe Trentuno's in Pelham! All her school and ball friends came and made for a wonderful Party. After the party we had one last surprise for her, Auntie Leigh was flying in to surprise her so we drove to the airport to pick her up telling Alexis ,Drue had to pick up a co worker, when she saw Auntie Leigh getting off the plane she could not believe it!

Happy Birthday Alexis , We love you so much and we are so Proud of you!

Mom and Dad

End to a Beautiful Service

After the Memorial Service our family was getting ready to head back home and I started to think about different memories of my Grandmother... I thought of all the pictures I was so diligent in taking over the years and how precious those are now to me! A few last pictures I captured before leaving that I thought were neat. The moon was so bright and beautiful here, I can't imagine how beautiful it would be in heaven.....
Sitting in my car looking at my mom's huge oak tree and this glimpse of the sun was just so neat!
And last but not least my grandmother's car....... And all the hilarious stories to go with it!!!

"Grama Nall"

We lost a very special lady Monday morning. My Grandmother passed away and we are missing her dearly. We were able to visit with her in the hospital on Sunday afternoon just hours before she passed and she was able to visit with her sons, and us, we are so thankful for that. God is good and we know she is rejoicing in heaven. I just wish we didn't miss her so much..

Surprise!

June 14, 2008
Alexis had been wanting her room redecorated for about a year now. Nana decided for her birthday she would make Alexis new bedspreads, curtains and a BEAUTIFUL headboard with her initials monogramed on it. We have been planning this for a while now, so we sent Alexis to Grama Sam's house for the weekend of which she had a Blast! Papa came down Friday night and Me, Drue, Lauren and Papa Painted , hung curtains , hund a beautiful ceiling Fan, cleaned carpets, decorated! Alexis came home and you guessed it SCREAMED when she saw how awsome it looks! Great Job Nana! Nana also did Lauren a Headboard, bedspread and curtains.

Happy Birthday Alexis!
We love you

Alexis First Swim Meet

June 3, 2008
Alexis's First Swim Meet with Gobbler's Knob Swim Team! She did Excellent and placed 3rd and 4th in most divisions! Funny Part is Alexis wasn't quite sure how to do the Butterfly stoke so when she jumped in she swam half the pool length underwater doing some kind of motion, We were all saying where is she? did she drown? Even the life guard got up to look? No she just was doing her own underwater swim! It was Hilarious, So needless to say she was DQ'D (Disqualified) in that event! In swimming if you don't do the strokes just perfect you get DQ'D so we have had a lot! But she loves it and has so much fun doing it! DQ'D has now come to represent let's just go get a Dairy Queen!
