Ronald McDonald House

The first of the year we got a group together that wanted to do more in our community, to give back and help others more. We came up with the name Helping Hands Ministry and we had our first project of the year.
Dinner for the Ronald McDonald House Residents! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We will do it Every month the last Tues. through 2009.

Fifth's Disease?

Thanks for all the calls and emails. Lauren is feeling better. Still not sure exactly what she had but more than likely it was Fifth's Disease. The Ped nurse on call, wanted us to try prescription Hydrocortisone creams and Benadryl which did nothing. So more or less she has some type of virus with no fever she is not contagious after the rash appears. Although, it was so severe her skin was just awful, and now it is still broken out a little bit but nothing like Sunday! Her lymph nodes in her neck are still pretty swollen as well. I took pictures of her but you really could not see the rash just Lauren standing with her arms out to her side!

Anyway we will keep a eye on her just in case anything weird comes up agian.

Wisdom Teeth?

Okay I have one question to ask God when I get to heaven.......Why Wisdom Teeth? I went this morning to have mine pulled and we only ended up pulling one of them! I'm totally fine and I appreciate all the love our special nurse Wendi Cain gave me during the procedure!
