Easter

Saturday Morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had brought surprises!

Alexis had stationary, note cards and lots of candy, and a very special music box.
Lauren of course her favorite Reeses butter cups, a new little girl Bible, coloring books
Sweet Blake got the new movie Hermie and Friends, coloring books and Mr. Potato head!
After opening our baskets we went to our City Easter Egg Hunt which was also the rainiest day in months!

Lauren"s First Game!

So Lauren is playing softball! 6u team named the RipTide! Drue is asst. coach as well.
Lauren is not so happy to be playing. Things Lauren has told Drue:
Dad I am only playing for you
Mom the only reason I am playing is for the snacks
If your Dad is the coach can you still quit
I am glad this won't take up my pool time in the summer.
Drue said to Lauren stand up get ready for the ball to be hit or you are going to go sit in the stands, Lauren's response: Hey dad can I go to the stands now?

But the funniest thing is when she is rounding bases she is smiling the whole way and loves getting to hit! She is so funny!!!
After Lauren's game we went to Alexis's last school ball tourn in Trussville.

Surprise We are Going to Disney World!!

March 14, 2010
Spring Break we told the kids we were going to Georgia to the Aquarium for an over night stay. I had packed their bags without them knowing, and on Sunday morning we woke them up at 4:30am told them to go to the van in their PJs and we were going on an adventure. They were worried when we got to the "Aquarium" they didn't have any clothes besides PJ's so we told them they could go through with their PJ's on! LOL!

Alexis slept almost the whole way, she wasn't feeling so good after playing a softball tourn the night before.
As we got closer to Disney Alexis kept saying I don't remember there being palm trees in Georgia!
As we were exiting into Disney World Park we gave them all a T-shirt with Mickey Ears and told them where we were really going!
