Momma's Boy

See our Angel?

Here is a picture of our front door-
Here is a picture only seconds later- see the colors and shadow effect? Alexis trying to hug it.
How about now?
This was so fun to pretend there might be a Angel in the house.. The girls really believed that there was a angel visiting yesterday. No doubt there were angels with us but there was also a smear on my camera lens! LOL!

Sunday Best

Here is some pics from yesterday after church. (Alexis is holding him up from behind the stairs)

Lauren's First Bike

Lauren finally saved her money and bought a bike!

Little Blake is Sick :-(

Blake woke up Saturday morning running low grade fever , and unbelievable amount of drainage from his nose, eyes and coughing! OH the joys of Daycare! Three days of daycare and we are already sick.....

A sneeze in progress

We're Back!

Drue , Me and Blake are back home from Destin, FL. I had a conference to attend so Drue and Blake came with me. During the trip Blake decided he loved sticking out his tounge! I think every time we introduced him he stuck it out!

It's all about the Locker

In 6th Grade it's all about the Locker!
We have been preparing for the locker all summer. We bought a combination lock to practice with, locker wall paper, shelving unit, dry erase board, locker mirror/ vanity! Wow!
Bad news When we went to get registered and she got her locker assignment it was a Bottom locker and she says "a Big Sweaty Boy" is above her :-(
First Day of school Alexis said half the kids couldn't open the lockers and teachers were growing very tired of Locker Emergencies! LOL!

Alexis captured a few pics with her phone, you know just in case anyone asks her what her locker looks like.....

Blake's Check up

Blake had is Belated 6 month check up today! (Yes I know he just turned 7 months)
He weighed 20 lbs 10ozs
length 28 inches

Growing well and starting foods is our biggest accomplishment. Blake has a tear duct that is not working in his left eye that will most likely have to be opened but we will wait until his 9 month check up to send him for a evaluation.

Blake got his toe pricked for a HCT level and didn't cry, He got his first shot no tears but for the 2,3,4th he screamed one time and it was over!

Alexis's First Day of 6th Grade!

First Day of 6th Grade! Alexis was a bit nervous!

Today was also the day for Lauren to meet her new 4K teacher! What a surprise we got a real sweetheart! She had made all the kids goodie bags!
Lauren with Mrs. Donna

Lauren could not wait for Alexis to get home. This is the first year Alexis is riding the Bus in the afternoons. So Drue and Lauren made a few Signs to hold up as the Middle School Bus approached our stop! Poor Alexis! This says Cheese Wagon STOP Here!
This one: Welcome Home Alexis Super 6th Grader!
Alexis comming off the Bus
Lauren holding her sign. Oh also the neighbors little boy decided to make signs as well so she had a whole street of signs......... So Funny!
