After a long battle with chronic sinus infections, headaches and over all feeling bad we were referred to a Allergist. Lauren was pretty nervous about the allergy testing.This is her back while we were waiting for the results.
Good news No allergies. Other news we still have a problem and they feel it is a anatomical problem with her sinuses or a immune system problem? She is so swollen in her face from infection in there that it may be as simple as treating the swelling and getting the right abx.Plan: We are going to Children's tomorrow for Blood work to check her CBC, and immune system
Start aggressive abx therapy for 3 weeks along with steroids to help with the swelling, a decongestant, antihistamine, and nose spray. Then we are going to have a CT scan of her head and evaluate if the infection is improving and or if we need to be referred to a ENT?
