The kids woke up early Saturday morning to find the Easter bunny delivered again!
A long time ago we asked our Easter Bunny to bring baskets on the Saturday before Easter so we could leave Easter to being all about Jesus. The kids I think enjoy it more as well because we are not rushing out the door to get to church , they can just play with their goodies!
Alexis's bucket had a DS game, lots of candy and a radio/ink pen combo!
Lauren also got a DS game, coloring book, crayons and candy
Blake got Bolt the movie, coloring Book/crayons and candy!

I LOVE the idea of giving Easter baskets on Saturday before Easter Sunday! I totally agree that it takes the focus away from the day being about Jesus. Hpefully I will remember next year....great idea!
