Recovery, after pulling his own IV out!


Blake had tubes in his ears and his Adnoids taken out this morning. I was really worried about him not being able to eat after midnight. He woke up last night about 10:45 and stayed awake until around 2:00 am. I think his ears were hurting so bad.

When they came to get Blake for the surgery, we walked him to the OR doors and handed him to the nurses, he started screaming , even with the doors closed you could hear him screaming.
When the surgery was done Dr. Hill said his ears had a lot of fluid in them, they cleaned them really good and his Adnoids were large.
The nurses brought Blake to us when he woke up from surgery, he was suppose to keep his IV in until he was eating and drinking but................ He pulled it out in Recovery and by the way the nurses looked he gave them a run for the money! LOL!

He is doing good. There is A LOT of drainage coming from his ears but that's to be expected I guess!
